How Dollar Shave Club is boosting app adoption – and revenue
When Dollar Shave Club first launched its mobile app, it immediately discovered this smooth new mobile experience was translating into impressive sales figures.
"Very early on, we were seeing significantly higher average revenue per shipment for these customers who were adopting the mobile app," said Ashley Lewis, Director of Product at Dollar Shave Club, a direct-to-consumer retailer for men's grooming products which generated $150 million in revenue in 2015, and was acquired by Unilever for $1 billion in mid-2016.
