Internet users aged 16–64 from 34 countries included in GlobalWebIndex surveys spent a total of 11 hours and 10 minutes per day consuming media during Q1–Q3 2016 – a figure which includes time spent on multiple media devices simultaneously. Approximately 56% of this time was spent online, with internet users in Brazil clocking up over 9 hours a day. US audiences watched the most TV, both linearly (3 hours and 23 minutes per day) and online (1 hour and 12 minutes).
