Executive summary

This is how L'Oréal launched the 'L'Oréal USA Women in Digital' initiative in 2012, to provide recognition, testing and recruitment opportunities to inspire and empower women working in technology, and to address the underrepresentation of women in digital technical fields. Their mission was to promote technology created by women, for women in the beauty industry.

During their inaugural year, L'Oréal USA Women in Digital created a best-in-class advisory board to serve as models of inspiration and innovation for the participants in the programme. The Women in Digital Advisory Board selected the winners of the Next Generation Awards in partnership with the L'Oréal Next Fund, and provided industry advocacy throughout the launch of the programme.
