Macy's – The store that loved Christmas

'Twas two months before Christmas and all through the land, Goodwill was vanishing, things were well out of hand. Recession had hit home and money was tight, As retailers everywhere saw customers take flight. Who could step up and bring festive cheer, A beacon of hope amidst all the fear?

Despite the harsh climate and tales full of woe, One place had belief right from the get-go. Christmas could never be cancelled or dashed – Macy's believed this as the economy crashed. This store that itself is one fine institution, That holds the word “Christmas” in its own constitution. A purveyor of joy to kids down the years; Parades, Santa Claus and holiday cheers.
