Starting with the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games, Procter & Gamble announced it would be sponsoring the Olympics for the next 10 years. This announcement posed tremendous opportunity for all P&G brands, like Febreze, to create a campaign that used this high-profile world stage to their advantage.

Febreze welcomed this task, and decided to promote their Air Effects product in North America, which was in need of media support at this time to maintain its title of aerosol market leader. There was still opportunity to educate people on why Febreze Air Effects was truly different from the competition and we embraced the challenge of doing so on an Olympic platform
