Freddy BharuchaFreddy Bharucha – Chief Marketing Officer, Procter & Gamble Asia

Freddy Bharucha is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for Procter and Gamble Asia. He joined P&G in 1995. Since then, he has lived and worked across several parts of the world including Europe, USA, India, China, Japan and Singapore. Freddy has also covered a breath of product categories over the years including Hair Care, Health Care, Home Care, Oral Care and Fabric Care. In his current role, Freddy is responsible for setting both long term business and marketing goals /strategies for P&G Asia; a $14billion business. He is responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality marketing /business plans across top brand-country combinations in Asia. He also oversees the training and capability, staffing and career management for Asia Marketing, to help create the next generation of brand builders and CEO leaders from P&G Asia. He is a key member of the Asia Leadership team, reporting directly to the Asia President and the Global Chief Marketing Officer.


Shahvez AfridiShahvez Afridi – Head of Strategy, P&G Asia-Pacific, Grey Group

Shahvez oversees the planning function for all the P&G brands across Asia-Pacific. An Automobile Engineer with a Master's in Management Studies, he has 19 years of end-to-end consumer insights and brand strategy experience, across Asia-Pacific. Shahvez is one of the most awarded Planners in Asia; having won every major strategy award. Lecturing is one of his biggest passions, and he has been invited as guest speaker at several universities in India, Thailand and Singapore.

Rob CampbellRob Campbell – Regional Head of Strategy, Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai

After starting his career as a session guitarist for some of the 80's & 90's worst popstars, Rob has been paid to think (and do) at agencies/companies including HHCL, Mother, CYNIC, Y&R, Google and now Wieden+Kennedy. Rob co-runs the Advertising [Planning] School On The Web, is very, very pro-east and believes creative strategy should always be mischievous, memorable and measurable.

Tony ChenTony Chen – Chief Digital Officer, China/Taiwan, GroupM China

Tony is responsible for the strategic growth and operation of the Group's digital business in China. He is also in charge of strategic investment, identifying acquisition targets for the Group in China and Taiwan. Tony is one of the most sought-after speakers on the topic of digital marketing in China. Tony, who was named as one of the top 50 Business Innovators in 2013 by CBN Weekly, also holds leadership positions within China's digital industry, currently serving as co-Chairman of MMA China.

Cheuk ChiangCheuk Chiang – CEO Asia Pacific, Omnicom Media Group

Cheuk's experience is broad and eclectic, and his career to date spans across account management, strategy planning and agency management roles in creative, direct marketing, digital and media agencies. Over the past 22 years he has worked on a number of high profile brands including Coca-Cola, Heineken, Kraft, Nikon, Tiger Beer and Unilever. Prior to joining Omnicom Media Group, Cheuk was at CumminsNitro in Australia where he had a long and successful spell as MD of the globally acclaimed and highly awarded creative hot-shop.

Pete HeskettPete Heskett – Global Planning Director, JWT

Now based in London, Pete works on global planning for Unilever at JWT. In 2013, he relocated from Singapore, where he had been JWT's regional planning director for Southeast Asia for five years. Pete has worked with some of the world's most famous brands, on some of the industry's most effective campaigns, at agencies including BBH, TBWA and Campbell Doyle Dye. He has lived and worked in London, Shanghai, and Singapore.

Imogen HewittImogen Hewitt – Head of Strategy, Havas Worldwide

Imogen has spent the last 16 years learning, honing and learning some more in full service, media and creative agencies both in Australia and South East Asia. In those years she has held strategy leadership roles that traverse media, digital, creative, brand and full service positions as well as agency management. This diverse background has allowed her to develop a perspective that crosses disciplines and channels and removes the artificial barriers between them.

Ellen HouEllen Hou – Group Managing Director Shanghai and Chief Strategy Officer, McCann Worldgroup Greater China
Ellen has 16 years of experience in strategy planning and belongs to the first generation of local planners in mainland China. Her recent responsibilities include leading the whole strategy network across the Greater China area as well as the strategy & culture innovation of McCann Worldgroup. One of her strategy strengths is to build strong cultural roles for international brands. Her direct contribution to McDonald's China brand platform and GE corporate communication all led to award winnings on effectiveness.

Rohit JawaRohit Jawa – Chairman and CEO, Unilever Philippines

Rohit has over 25 years of experience with Unilever across the diverse functions of country local operations, country customer development, and marketing for regional category and global markets. He joined directly from campus as a management trainee in Hindustan Unilever Limited and has since then worked on most emerging markets with Unilever. He has been based across several countries in Asia – India, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and now, Philippines.

Priti MurthyPriti Murthy – National Director Insights, Maxus India

Priti Murthy has over 16 years of experience working and advising companies across multiple sectos. In her various roles, Priti had been responsible for strategic planning for one of the largest media planning business houses in India. In her role at Maxus she is responsible for driving strategic and measurement initiatives with all major clients of Maxus. Priti started her career with Creative Unit as a planner and rose to drive the strategic planning and implementation roles with various clients across various verticals.

Puneet NarangPuneet Narang – Vice President Marketing – Gum, Candy & Powdered Beverages, Asia Pacific, Mondelez International
Puneet is responsible for driving the growth of the gum, candy, and powdered beverages categories. With over 20 years of experience in the FMCG, Consumer Healthcare (OTC), Advertising and Market Research industries in both developed and emerging markets, Puneet is an internationally experienced marketing professional. He has launched over 30 new products and numerous successful advertising campaigns while working for blue chip companies such as Reckitt Benckiser, Pfizer Consumer Health and SmithKline Beecham.

Robin NayakRobin Nayak – Regional Head of Strategy, TBWA\ South East Asia

Within his role, Robin is also the global management supervisor and lead strategist for Singapore's iconic Singapore Airlines account, as well being the worldwide strategic head on the Standard Chartered Bank business. An award winning strategist, with close to 25 years working in advertising around the world, Robin has been responsible for nurturing some of the finest planning talent to emerge in the region and has extended the agency's thought leadership to span the full spectrum of emerging marketing and consulting services.

Chandru RadakrishnanChandru Radakrishnan – Head of Communications, Nestlè India

If passion is the engine that drives him, then imagination is the fuel for it. In a career spanning over 16 years, Chandru has amassed functional skills in the areas of sales and marketing, working across different industries in different capacities. Currently working as the Head of Communication for Nestlé, and earlier as Head of Brand with Airtel, Category Head with Marico and Group Product Manager with Britannia, he has built strong businesses, compelling brands and great teams.

Frank ReitgasslFrank Reitgassl – Head of Account Planning, BBH Asia Pacific

Frank joined BBH London in September 2000 as a Graduate Trainee before moving to BBH Asia Pacific in 2006 where he has been looking after regional clients including Axe, Surf, Coca Cola, Nike, Dutch Lady, Kronenbourg, Chupa Chups as well as heading up the planning department. He has won several Planning and Effectiveness awards, including a Gold at the IPA UK and several at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards. If his weekends are not filled with writing award papers, Frank enjoys football, golf, beer and travelling.

Kawal ShoorKawal Shoor – Head of Planning, Ogilvy Mumbai

Kawal is the Head of Planning of arguably the most awarded Indian agency ever – Ogilvy Mumbai. He plans on key Cadbury and Unilever brands, among others. Kawal won India's first ever IPA Gold – for Cadbury Dairy Milk. Under his leadership Ogilvy Mumbai has, for the last two successive years, been named the Global Agency Office of the Year by the Effies. A happy B-school dropout, he believes that in the marketing and communications world, practice creates theory, and not the other around.

Pratik ThakarPratik Thakar – Vice President – Asia Pacific Creative & Content Excellence, Coca-Cola

As a key member of the Asia Pacific Group Marketing Leadership Team, Pratik leads Creative & Content Excellence across Coca-Cola Company's Asia Pacific Region. Pratik held leadership roles in many global ad agencies prior to joining Coke. His 18 years of industry experience covers stints in India, South East Asia and Greater China for Grey Group, McCann Worldgroup, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB and Lowe. A strong advocate of creative technology & collaborative innovation, he founded Grey Innovation lab for GREY GROUP Greater China.

Amrit ThomasAmrit Thomas – President – Chief Marketing Officer, United Spirits Limited

Amrit is a FMCG professional with 24 years of FMCG experience, including years across various leadership roles in Sales and Marketing. During a highly successful tenure at Hindustan Unilever, Amrit developed leading edge marketing capability while handling diverse leadership roles across marketing and sales and across different domains. As a marketing and sales professional, Amrit not only has in-depth knowledge of marketing processes and practice, but has been instrumental in building marketing capability within USL.

Chris ThomasChris Thomas – Chairman and CEO BBDO Asia, Middle East & Africa; Chairman, Proximity Worldwide
Chris graduated with a degree in History and English, a flourishing disco business and a passion for wind surfing. He entered the advertising business at Dorlands in 1984 – so is celebrating his 30 years anniversary. Since then, he has held positions at Abbott Mead Vickers, Ammirati Puris Lintas, Lowe Lintas, BBDO and Proximity in Asia. He has now taken on Chairmanship of BBDO in Middle East and Africa, and the Chairmanship of Proximity worldwide. He has given up windsurfing – and is now a fanatic kite-surfer.

Melisa TeohMelisa Teoh – Head, Group Brand & Strategic Marketing, Great Eastern Holdings

Melisa leads Great Eastern's brand marketing strategy, helping the 105-year-old insurer build brand leadership in the Southeast Asia region. Her advertising and brand marketing experience covers a range of industries from FMCG, telecommunications, technology, banking and insurance. Her career spans top global agency networks and regional bluechip multinational organisations. Over the course of her career, Melisa led both agency and advertiser teams to win multiple creative and marketing industry awards.

Jarek ZiebinskiJarek Ziebinski – President, Leo Burnett Asia Pacific

Jarek has 28 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry, 18 of which, have been at Leo Burnett. He was Chairman and CEO of Leo Burnett Central and Eastern Europe for close to a decade before relocating to Singapore in 2009 to become the President for the agency-network in the Asia Pacific region where he oversees Leo Burnett offices and affiliates across 17 cities, with around 2,000 employees. He is also a member of the Leo Burnett Worldwide Global Executive Leadership Team.
