Rom, the Kandia Dulce-owned chocolate bar, is the winner of the $10,000 Warc Prize for Innovation.
The risk-taking campaign from BV McCann Erickson stirred up patriotic sentiment by claiming that the Romanian brand was being relaunched as "American Rom".
The runner-up prize went to FARC Operation Christmas.
