The Effie top prize was awarded to Chrysler and Wieden+Kennedy for the campaign "Imported from Detroit".
The 44th annual Effies Awards Gala was held in New York, where the judging panel commended 51 other campaigns beyond the Grand Effie. In total there were 15 Gold winners, 19 Silvers and 18 Bronzes.
