Y&R Loses Global Creative Boss

08 January 2007

NEW YORK: High profile creative Michael Patti, vice chairman and global creative director at Y&R Advertising, last week walked the platinum plank suspended above the agency's Madison Avenue headquarters - although his golden parachute reportedly opened in good time!

The absence of mutual eulogies suggest that the circumstances surrounding Patti's departure were less than cordial, and group ceo Hamish McLennan confined himself to a terse statement that the agency had "parted company with Michael."
