Despite the dotcom downturn, online ad impressions hit a record high in December, jumping 21% over November’s figure to reach 65 billion, according to Jupiter Media Metrix’s monthly AdRelevance Intelligence Report.
Amazon.com led the way among advertisers, garnering nearly 3bn impressions over the course of December. Meanwhile, Yahoo! served the most ads (over 7.5bn) and MSN attracted the most ad revenue ($80 million).
