SINGAPORE: The deadline for the Warc Prize for Asian Strategy, the region's first competition focusing on the strategic thinking behind marketing activity, has been extended by two weeks to 1 April 2011.

The Prize, which is free to enter, will be awarded to the case study demonstrating the most insightful marketing strategy. Entries can be made online via www.warc.com/asiaprize.

Submissions will be published on warc.com, and the winning paper is to be announced in May, with the author(s) receiving $5,000 (€3,564; £3,069) in cash.

Marketers looking for a few tips can watch a new video in which judge Shawn Warren, Kraft Foods' vice-president marketing, Asia-Pacific, talks about the qualities he will be looking for in Prize entries.

The judging panel will be chaired by Miles Young, worldwide chief executive of Ogilvy & Mather, and also features senior executives from Unilever, Procter & Gamble, SABMiller, PHD, DDB Worldwide and Isobar Global.
