Vodafone Launches $360m European Media Review

In a move likely to stimulate salivation in every media shop across Europe, Vodafone has decided to pool its continent-wide planning and buying duties into a single, colossal $360 million (€335m; £228m) account and put the business up for review.

The mobile phone mammoth currently works with a range of media shops across Europe, including OMD in the UK, Carat in Germany, France, Sweden and Ireland, and MindShare in Italy.

The identities of shops contesting the account have not as yet been revealed.
