Visa Hires Pepsi Executive for Top Marketing Role

FOSTER CITY: The world's biggest credit card system, Visa, has named PepsiCo executive Antonio Lucio as its first global cmo.

Visa, which plans to raise up to $10 billion (€6.8bn; £4.8bn) via an imminent IPO and is currently consolidating its $600 million global media business, has described Lucio as a "creative strategic thinker with a strong emphasis on deliverable results".

At Pepsi, which he joined twelve years ago, Lucio was most recently chief innovation and health and wellness officer. He has marketing experience from roles at Kraft Food, and Procter & Gamble among others.
