New Jersey-based Volvo Cars of North America has entered into a long-term reciprocal marketing deal with upmarket cataloger Orvis of Manchester, Vermont.

The deal, on which neither party was willing to hang a price tag, will see Volvo taking ad space in Orvis’ catalogs which specialise in outdoor merchandise. In return, the Volvo marque will feature in the cataloger’s advertising and promotions.

Volvo, which supersedes a previous partnership deal with Daimler Chrysler’s Jeep Grand Cherokee, expects the link with Orvis to help it reach new customers
