Unilever Shuffles Top US Marketing Duties

18 September 2006

NEW JERSEY: Consumer goods giant Unilever, whose brands include Dove and Knorr, has split marketing responsibilities at its US division between two top execs, Laura Klauberg and Lisa Klauser.

Klauberg, who last year essentially became the company's US cmo when she was named vp-shared marketing services, will now focus exclusively on media for the entire Americas region; while Klauser takes on general-marketing duties as vp-brand building and marketing excellence in the US.

A Unilever spokeswoman said the executives' new duties would "be more consistent with the [One Unilever] reorganization," which the company launched last year as it regrouped under a single ceo.
