Unilever Marketers Promoted

LONDON: Unilever has appointed Babs Rangaiah (pictured), currently director-360 planning for the USA, as director-global communications planning. Based in London, he replaces Luis Di Como who becomes vp-media for the Americas region.

Consequently, Rob Master switches from director-brand building for skin care in North America to become director of media for the same region.

Rangaiah will lead Unilever's team of global planners and digital specialists in its integrated brand-communications efforts.

After Procter & Gamble, Unilever is the world's second-largest advertiser with measured global spending of $4.5 billion (€3.12bn; £2.23bn) in 2006.
