US Radio Revenues Rise Again in March

28 April 2004

The New York-based Radio Advertising Bureau reports encouraging ad sales for the first time this year.

Data for March 2003 shows combined local and national revenues up ten percent year-on-year, although the rise was more pronounced at local stations. The gain follows a flat January and a meager 1% sales hike in February.

Across Q1 as a whole, combined local and national revenues rose by 4% compared with the same period in 2003.
