US Magazines Cheer Next Rise in Ad Pages

Magazine advertising in the USA saw its sixth consecutive monthly rise in October.

Figures from the Publishers Information Bureau show an 8.4% increase year-on-year in the overall number of ad pages across most major US magazines, while growth through to the third quarter was 3%.

The only major advertising category to fall (by 5.2%) was the technology sector. The strongest growth was in the media and advertising category at a robust 22.3%.
