UK Telco Pledges 'Free' Broadband

   LONDON- The UK's largest cellphone retailer Carphone Warehouse is to offer 'free' broadband internet access to customers who sign up to its landline phone service for £20.99 ($36.81; €30.32). The payment will cover unlimited local and national landline calls and landline rental.
   Hypes ceo Charles Dunstone: "The residential telecoms market in the UK will never be the same again. From today, broadband is a right, not a privilege."
