TNS Debuts US Media Unit

NEW YORK: Research giant TNS has consolidated its US operations into a single company, TNS Media, led by ceo Dean DeBiase, erstwhile head of search and digital marketing firm Fathom Online.

The new entity includes TNS media intelligence and TNS media research, with recent acquisitions Compete and Cymfony.

Says TNS ceo David Lowden: "This new group is set to expand our digital measurement capabilities and provide a single platform to deliver our services globally throughout the TNS network of companies and partners."

The group's services will include strategic advertising and marketing information; online TV, set-top box and radio audience measurement; brand monitoring and analytics from traditional and social media; and online audience and behaviour tracking.
