TBWA Worldwide has appointed Paul Bainsfair as European president as part of a reshuffle of senior management.

Bainsfair, who has been the network's president for Northern Europe for three years, now takes day-to-day responsibility for operations across the whole continent.

In addition, the Omnicom Group unit has appointed Tim Love to the new post of president, global clients. Love -- previously international vice chairman at Saatchi & Saatchi -- will be based in Tokyo and manage TBWA's dealings with Nissan, one of the agency's biggest global clients.

Love and Bainsfair join a new executive committee set up to oversee TBWA's worldwide operations. Also on this committee are president/ceo Jean-Marie Dru, chairman/chief creative officer Lee Clow, Americas president Tom Carroll, chief financial officer Jonathan Ramsden and Asia Pacific president Keith Smith.
