Sony, McDonald's Join Forces for Music Promo

McDonald's will support the recent introduction of Connect, Sony's new online music site.

Vouchers for free music downloads will be given to McDonald's customers as the restaurant chain looks to promote itself to youngsters keen on taking advantage of new digital music distribution.

Sony's Connect was launched last month and is in direct competition with the market leader, Apple Computer's iTunes.

It is expected that Sony and McDonald's will make an official announcement later this week detailing the joint promo.
