Senior Marketing VP Quits Telecoms Giant

28 June 2001

Janet Keeler, senior vice president brand management and marketing at Verizon Communications, is retiring the company announced yesterday – although it was oddly unwilling to say when she would clear her desk.

Stepping into Keeler’s shoes is Jody Bilney, erstwhile president of consumer markets at the telecom giant’s retail markets group. She will be responsible for all advertising and marketing activity as well as the global enhancement of the Verizon brand.
