Schoolar quits lender for grabber

Head of brand communications at NatWest Bank Ian Schoolar is to transfer his persuasive skills to an organisation that many believe to be already over-endowed with such qualities – the Inland Revenue.

Schoolar will take up his new appointment as director of marketing and communications at Hector’s grandiose Somerset House abode in January, leaving behind him a question mark over the bank’s lead agency, TBWA\London, at which he recently consolidated the bank’s ad business.
