Sweden-headquartered Saab Automobile – a unit of General Motors – has named the London office of Digitas Europe as agency of record on its global direct and relationship marketing account. Billings have not been disclosed.
The decision follows a four-month review involving a dozen shops, among them the London offices of McCann Relationship Marketing and Lowe Live.
Digitas – which already handles several GM brands in the US – will work with global ad agency Lowe Brindfors in Stockholm. Its brief includes the development of loyalty programmes and direct-to-consumer creative.
