Edinburgh-based The Leith Agency, the marauding Scottish shop which in January invaded London’s adland with its award-winning brand of advertising, has enticed three of the capital’s top names to its flag.

Jeremy Pyne and John Messum, respectively managing partner and head of art at Saatchi & Saatchi London, join Leith as managing director and joint creative director. Messum will be partnered in the creative role by Paul Silburn, currently creative director at Leo Burnett’s London office. The new management team will complemented by a yet-to-be-appointed planning director.

Leith chief executive John Rowley, who has been commuting between Edinburgh and London during the set-up period, will continue his forays across Hadrian’s Wall. He enthuses: “We are delighted to have attracted a team of such calibre to run the London agency. We are committed to building a strong, creatively led brand here and we are confident that this is the team to deliver it.”
