Revlon Sacks Kirshenbaum from $70m Creative Account

Just eleven months after being awarded the $70 million creative account for its flagship brand, Revlon has wiped the business from New York agency Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners.

Word around Madison Avenue is that the business will gravitate to another Manhattan shop, Deutsch, which lost out to KB&P in a review last February, although winning the media planning/buying element of the business as well as creative for the Almay brand.

CMR reports that the Revlon brand spent $70m in 2000 and over $60m through the first ten months of 2001. The reason for the sacking is unknown and the client remains incommunicado.
