New figures from America’s Radio Advertising Bureau show that spend on the medium continued its upward trend in November, the ninth month in a row ad revenues have risen.
Combined local and national spend jumped 10% year-on-year, the third consecutive double-digit monthly uplift after increases of 13% in October and 17% in September.
National ad sales led the way with a 23% surge, while local revenues were up 7%. Over the first eleven months of last year, total revenues increased 6% over the same period in 2001.
