Q3 Newspaper Adspend Up

Third-quarter adspend in newspapers jumped to $11.8 billion – 4.3% up on last year’s figures – according to the Newspaper Association of America.

The revenue breakdown comprised $1.9bn on national advertising (up 14.5% from last year), $5.1bn on retail (+0.7%) and $4.8bn on classified ads (+4.8%).
