Pepsi Consolidates with BBDO

BBDO Worldwide has been handed the overseas duties for the Mirinda and 7Up brands by US drinks giant Pepsi-Cola International.

The move consolidates Pepsi’s accounts with BBDO, which has handled the flagship Pepsi-Cola brand for decades. Mirinda and 7Up were previously with Omnicom stablemate, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Fransisco.

CLM BBDO in Paris will manage the strategic and creative duties for the brands. Estimated billings are $20–$25 million.

Pepsi’s Charles Nicholas said the consolidation was part of “a more simplified, efficient business model”.
