PepsiCo Unites North American Food and Drinks Brands

06 June 2002

PepsiCo is to form a new unit housing its manifold North American food and drinks brands.

The division – with the tortuous title PepsiCo Beverages and Foods North America – will combine the existing Pepsi-Cola North America arm with the already merged Gatorade, Tropicana and Quaker businesses in the region.

In charge will be president/ceo Gary Rodkin, currently in the same post at Pepsi-Cola North America, and Gatorade/Tropicana/Quaker chairman Robert Morrison, who will stay on at the expanded unit.
