Online Ads: CMR gets Bullish for 2002

In this, the season for mid-year rune-casting by the world and his wife, another set of predictions from CMR – this time for the online advertising industry.

The cyber-sector is evidently in a far more robust state of health than its traditional counterpart, according to CMR which predicts a year-on-year uplift of 5.3% - over double its 2.5% growth forecast for orthodox media [WAMN: 27-Jun-02].

“We are off to a good start this year, which suggests a rebound over last year,” commented David Peeler, president/ceo of CMR, a unit of UK-headquartered Taylor Nelson Sofres.
