Omnicom Group -- the globe's largest agency holding company by 2002 revenues -- on Tuesday reported Q4 profits up by 10% to $221.3 million (€171.75m; £115.85m).
Diluted earnings per share rose 8% to $1.17 and organic revenue lifted 7.6%, excluding acquisitions and currency exchange fluctuations.
Aggregated global revenues were up 18.3% to $2.5 billion, with US income up 15% to $1.3bn. International business revenues fared better yet in percentage terms, notching a 22% increase to $1.2bn.
For the full year to December 31, Omnicom achieved a five percent profit uplift to $675.9m, boosting diluted earnings per share by 4% to $3.59.
Global revenue for 2003 as a whole rose 14.4% to $8.6bn, boosted by a 10% uplift in domestic revenue to $4.7bn. International revenue zoomed 20% to $3.9bn, while organic revenue grew 4.6%.
Happy owners of Omnicom stock will receive a thirteen percent increase in their quarterly dividend to $0.225 per share.
