STOCKHOLM - Nokia, the world's largest cellphone maker by sales volume, reported a 21% rise in first-quarter net profit due to strong performances at its mobile-phone and multimedia divisions.
However, its wireless-networks and enterprise-phone units damped growth.
The company also said its market share rose by three percentage points to 35% from a year earlier.
Net profit rose year-on-year to €1.05 billion ($1.3bn; £727.2m) from €863 million, while sales rose 29% to €9.5bn.
