NBC Links With iTunes in TV Download Venture

    NEW YORK - Plans to debut its newest TV series for free at Apple's iTunes store ten days before its network premiere, were announced Tuesday by NBC.
    It is the first time a broadcast network has launched a free series via iTunes, and is yet another sign that the US TV industry is seeking to adapt its business model to new forms of digital distribution.
    NBC's approach with Conviction, a legal drama, also reflects an effort to use iTunes as a promotional tool - targeting younger viewers
