Motorola Appoints Marketing Chief

SCHAUMBURG, Illinois: The world's second largest cellphone maker Motorola has named ex-HJ Heinz executive Kenneth (aka Casey) Keller as its new cmo.

He will report to chairman/ceo Ed Zander and will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing Motorola's global marketing efforts.

The company has reported disappointing third quarter sales of $10.6 billion (€8.4bn; £5.6bn). Although up 17% from a year ago, the figures are around $470 million less than forecast by analysts.
