A number of UK direct marketing agencies have been parading their charms before Peter Mounty, head of communications and quality at Britain's fourth largest mortgage lender, Cheltenham & Gloucester.
C&G, an offshoot of Britain’s largest bank Lloyds TSB, confirmed that a review of its multi-million pound dm account is under way: “We regularly review our position in these matters and test the market. This is ongoing,” said Mounty, stressing that it excluded mainstream advertising.
Much of C&G’s direct work is currently handled by its above the line incumbent Saatchi & Saatchi.
