MPG Offers Offen Global Role

Havas-owned Media Planning Group has appointed Bob Offen, chief executive of the network’s UK business, as head of global operations.

In addition to his British duties, Offen will assemble a group dedicated solely to global accounts, heading three separate divisions across MPG:

Global Client Management – developing pitches, defining commercial strategy and co-ordinating local units working on international accounts.

Catalyst – handling media strategy.

MarComs – responsible for product development, new business opportunities and recognising changing client needs.

The appointment is not expected to affect the position of UK managing director Marc Mendoza or his deputy Dominic Stead.
