L’Oréal Taps Universal McCann for $38m German Media Duties

Universal McCann in Düsseldorf has picked up the $38 million German media planning and buying duties for the Biotherm, Lancôme, Helena Rubinstein and Perfume Collection brands of French fragrance firm L’Oréal.

Universal – which ousts incumbent Optimedia, also in Düsseldorf – already manages around $243m of L’Oréal business. However, the client insists it does not intend to consolidate media duties in other international markets.
