Following its recent purchase of US ethnic haircare and cosmetic manufacturer Carson Products, the New York HQ of French-owned beauty products firm L’Oreal has restructured two of its US units to incorporate Carson brands.
Carson’s Dark & Lovely and Ultra Sheen ethnic haircare and cosmetics brands will integrate with L'Oreal's Soft Sheen Products, Chicago. Renamed SoftSheen/Carson Division, the expanded unit will be headed by Soft Sheen president Terri Gardner, with Malcolm Yesner, former Carson president-CEO, appointed executive VP-global business development.
Dermablend, a Carson corrective cosmetics line, is combined with L'Oreal's luxury products division with former Dermablend president Tim Hogan continuing in the same role.
