Lycos and Bertelsmann in ‘Multi-Million’ Joint Ad Venture

Online network Terra Lycos has teamed with Bertelsmann subsidiary BMG Entertainment to launch a ‘multi-million’ dollar joint advertising venture.

The campaign will promote artists on BMG’s labels and the services on offer at Lycos Music, augmenting the ‘Whatever you’re into, dig into it deeper on Lycos’ campaign launched in October.

The six 30-second commercials, currently running on MTV, ESPN, Discovery, VH1, E!, Sci-Fi, MSNBC and CNBC, feature artists such as teen chanteuse Christina Aguilera and British singer-songwriter David Gray (both on RCA), as well as Arista’s Pink, Outkast and Dido.
