Lowe London CEO Suspended by Parent Interpublic

03 March 2006

Lowe London, still reeling from its loss of the $80 million (€65m; £45m) Tesco account to Sir Frank Lowe's recent startup Red Brick Road [WAMN: 31-Jan-06], was dealt another blow Thursday with the indefinite suspension of the network's local ceo Garry Lace.

The suspension, apparently on the orders of US parent Interpublic Group, follows allegations that Lace had met "several times" with Sir Frank. It is also asserted they discussed the Tesco business.

The suspension is expected to be confirmed by Lowe London today (Friday).
