Omnicom-owned DDB France, the nation’s fourth largest marketing communications operation, is in the throes of a major management and creative overhaul.
The group’s flagship agency DDB Paris is to be merged with its Omnicom sibling Louis XIV, regarded locally as a creative powerhouse, and the combined operation will henceforth be known as Louis XIV DDB, Paris.
At the tiller as new co-presidents are Bertrand Suchet and Jean-Luc Bravi, co-founders of Louis XIV in 1994. The former is responsible for the shop’s creative offering, the latter for strategy and business development. Quondam head of DDB Paris Herve Brossard is to focus instead on DDB’s national business and his pan-European management duties within DDB Worldwide.
The merger, which will not become final until the latter part of the year when the merged operation moves into new offices, also prompted the resignation of Christophe Lichtenstein, general manager at DDB, Paris.
