Leo Burnett Shakes Up European Management Structure

25 January 2001

BCom3-owned ad network Leo Burnett Worldwide is shuffling its senior staff in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Jeff Fergus, group president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, steps down, while Peter Walker becomes chief operating officer of those regions, moving up from regional finance director. In addition, the network’s chief operating officer Steve Gatfield now handles strategic control in Europe.

Enthused Leo Burnett chairman and chief executive Linda Wolf: “While the new management team and structure allow us to align the region with Leo Burnett's global corporate development, they will also provide continuity and operational excellence on the ground in Europe.”
