Kraft joins Warc Prize judging panel

LONDON/WASHINGTON: Gerry D'Angelo, the media director of Kraft Foods Europe, has joined the panel of judges for the US$10,000 Warc Prize for Ideas and Evidence.

The Prize, which is free to enter, will be awarded to the best case study uploaded to and its first entry deadline is May 11.

D'Angelo held positions at Leo Burnett, BSkyB and Cheil Worldwide prior to joining Kraft, where he has been involved in the consolidation of the company's media operations with those of Cadbury.

He will join other senior marketers such as Simon Pestridge, global brand director, sportswear at Nike and Linda Kovarik, regional creative director, Asia Pacific for Coca-Cola on the panel.

Sital Banerjee, the global head of media at Philips, and Charlotte West, South Asia regional marketing director for Reckitt Benckiser, are among the other Prize judges.

Alex Bogusky, chief creative insurgent of MDC Partners and founding partner of Crispin Porter + Bogusky, will be chairing the panel.
