28 January 2009

NORTHFIELD, Illinois: Kraft Foods, America's biggest food manufacturer, has appointed Dana Anderson (pictured), former president/ceo of ad agencies DDB and FCB in Chicago, as senior vice president, marketing, strategy and communication.

Anderson's responsibilities include managing the company's agencies, as well as heading up advertising, digital and media operations, and she will report to Kraft's cmo, Mary Beth West.

She has previously worked on assignments for various Kraft brands while at JWT, DDB and the Dana Anderson Company, a consultancy of which she was the joint founder.

Laurie Guzzinati, associate director of corporate affairs at Kraft, says that Anderson will also be focusing on "how can we think about things across the marketing landscape in a sharper, newer and even faster way."
