Japan, World's Second Largest Economy, Logs 4% Unemployment

TOKYO: Japan's Internal Affairs Ministry reports that the nation's unemployment rate rose in April by 0.2 percentage points to four percent, a seven-month high.

April also saw a fall in job vacancies, according to the Labor Ministry, whose index fell by 0.02 points in April, a situation which, it says, "requires attention".
