Interpublic Predicts On-Target Profits for 2000

Interpublic, the third largest advertising group in the world, hinted Monday that it was confident it had met profit targets for 2000.

The group revealed that chief financial officer Sean Orr will next Tuesday tell a conference of institutional investors that Interpublic is comfortable with its profit targets for 2000 of between $1.49 to $1.59 per share.
