IPG Inks Deal with Student Networking Site

NEW YORK - Interpublic Group says it has completed a multi-pronged deal with social networking site Facebook.com under which IPG clients will get prime advertising space as well as consumer trend insights gleaned from postings.

Fast-growing Facebook gives students the chance to connect through profile pages and drew 14 million visitors in May.
