ICA creates sample ad account contract

The ICA (Institute of Canadian Advertising) has created a model agency–client contract, to promote professional contractual relationships. It was adapted from the UK ad industry’s model contract. Rupert Brendon, president of the ICA, stated that two-thirds of advertising accounts do not currently have a contractual agreement, and stressed that the new model was intended for companies with no agreements or those looking for a different version.
